The Players’ Theatre Club is the oldest association dedicated to the performance and preservation of Traditional Music Hall. We put on our public shows at the Museum of Comedy. In addition,we hold twice-yearly fund-raising parties at the Royal Air Force club, and special bespoke events for Livery Companies, Ward clubs, Parish Councils and many other organisations and individuals.

Surplus income from these events is invested in a special “New Faces” account for the sole purpose of finding, training and giving performance opportunities to the next generation of Music Hall Artistes.

The programme described above is an example of our activity in providing some of these future artistes with the challenge of performing before a supportive, experienced audience.
